Discounts provided to eligible patients
Limited assets and household income less than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines:
- Treatment will be offered as financial assistance. Patients will not have an obligation to pay for services.
Limited assets and household income between 200% and 399% of the federal poverty guidelines:
- Inpatient and outpatient balances, discount to the greatest discount given to any managed care plan or the overall annual hospital managed care realization rate (the percentage of billed charges that is actually expected to be collected) whichever is the highest discount.
Household income at or above 400% of the federal poverty guidelines:
- All inpatient and outpatient balances receive the lowest discount given to any managed care plan.
